The English version of this page is the official one. This translation is provided for convenience.
NAU Labs, LLC (“NAU Labs,” “we,” or “us”) builds software that makes AI useful for real work, starting with Harness. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have.
The short version
- This website does not use cookies, advertising trackers, or browser storage. It counts visits on its own server without identifying you.
- We collect what you choose to send us, through our contact form or by email, plus the basic technical information every website receives.
- We use it to reply to you, follow up on what you asked about, and keep the site secure.
- We do not sell your personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or use it to train AI models.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time.
This summary is for convenience. The sections below explain each point in full.
What this policy covers
This policy covers personal information we collect through this website and when you contact us. It does not cover our products and services, such as Harness and custom builds. Those are covered by separate agreements, which explain how information is handled when you use them.
When we build or run a system for a client, we handle the client’s data only to provide our services and under our agreement with that client. In that role we act as a service provider (also called a processor), and the client decides how its data is used. If your information is in a system we run for a client, please contact that client first. We will help them respond to you.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form. When you send a message through our contact form, we receive the topic you choose, your name, email address, business name, location, phone number if you add one, a preferred day and time to meet with your time zone if you pick one, your message, and the language of the page you used.
- Email and other messages. If you email us or reach us another way, we receive your contact details and whatever you include, such as attachments.
- Conversations about working together. If you talk with us about a demo, a pilot, or a custom build, we may receive details about your business and what you need. Information you share once we work together is covered by our agreement with you.
Information collected automatically
Like any website, the servers that deliver this site may receive standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the page that sent you here, and the date and time. Our hosting provider may keep this information in server logs to deliver and protect the site.
Our contact form uses a few checks to stop spam. Some run in your browser, such as making sure the form was filled in by a person, and need no extra information about you. The service that delivers your message may also briefly use your IP address to limit repeated messages.
Information from other sources
We do not buy information about the people who visit this website, and we do not get it from data brokers. If someone introduces you to us, they may share your name and contact details with us.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use cookies, advertising trackers, tracking pixels, analytics from other companies, or browser storage. Our pictures, video, and fonts are served from our own site, so browsing it does not send your information to other companies. The only time the site contacts another company is when you send a message, which may be delivered through FormSubmit.
Visit counts
To see how the site is used, our own server counts visits: which pages are viewed, the website that sent the visitor, the page language, and whether the visit came from a phone or a computer. It does not use cookies and does not save IP addresses. To count how many different people visit in a day, it briefly combines your IP address and browser type with a random key that changes every day, keeps the result only in memory, and never saves it, so the counts cannot identify you or follow you from day to day. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, your visit is not counted.
If we ever add cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- reply to your message and follow up on your request
- share information about our products and services that you asked about, such as a demo, a pilot, or a custom build
- prepare proposals and agreements when you ask to work with us
- run, maintain, and improve this website
- keep the site and our contact form secure, and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse
- comply with the law, enforce our terms, and protect our rights and the rights of others
We do not use the information you send through this website to train AI models. We do not make decisions about you based only on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Legal bases in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases:
- Steps before a contract. When you ask for a demo, a pilot, or a proposal, we use your information to respond.
- Legitimate interests. We have a legitimate interest in replying to messages, running and improving our business, and keeping the site secure, and we weigh it against your rights.
- Legal obligations. We use information when the law requires it.
- Consent. Where we ask for your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
How we share information
We share personal information only in these situations:
- Service providers. Companies that help us run this website and our business, such as our hosting provider, our email provider, our form delivery provider (FormSubmit) when it is used, and the software we use to manage email, documents, and our work, which may include AI services. They handle information to provide their services to us, under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Legal reasons. When we believe in good faith that the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NAU Labs, our visitors, or others.
- Business changes. If NAU Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that deal. We will update this policy if that changes how your information is handled.
- With your permission. When you ask us to share it, or agree that we may.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising, including advertising based on your activity on other websites.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. How long depends on why we have it:
- Messages and contact details. While we are in touch with you, and afterward for as long as we need them for our business records.
- Business relationships. For as long as the relationship lasts, and afterward as long as the law or our agreements require.
- Server logs and spam checks. For a short time, as set by our hosting and delivery providers.
- Visit counts. Kept as totals that do not identify anyone.
We may keep information longer when the law requires it or to resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- delete your information
- stop contacting you
Depending on where you live, you may have more rights, such as the right to object to or restrict certain uses, to receive your information in a portable format, or to withdraw your consent. We honor these requests for everyone wherever we can, and we will not treat you differently for making one.
How to make a request
Email us or use our contact form, and tell us what you would like us to do. We may ask for information to confirm your identity before we act, and we will respond within the time the law requires. You can also use an authorized agent to make a request for you. We may ask for proof that the agent can act for you.
If we decline your request, we will explain why. Where the law gives you the right to appeal, you can reply to our answer and ask us to reconsider. If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Notice for US state residents
Privacy laws in California and other US states give residents rights over their personal information. Through this website, we collect these categories of personal information:
- Identifiers. Your name, email address, phone number, and IP address.
- Professional information. Your business name and location.
- Internet activity. The pages you request and your browser type.
- Messages. What you write to us.
We collect this information from you and from your browser or device. We use it for the purposes described above, and we disclose it only to the service providers and in the situations described above. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define those terms, including the information of anyone under 16. We do not collect sensitive personal information on purpose, so please do not send it to us.
You can use the rights described in this policy, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
This website does not track you across sites, and we do not sell or share personal information. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we also leave your visit out of our visit counts, and we will keep honoring these signals as the law requires.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections to this site. No way of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, used, or changed without permission. Please do not send sensitive information, such as passwords, financial account numbers, or health information, through our contact form.
If you find a security issue on this site, please tell us using the contact details below or the details in our security.txt file.
International transfers
NAU Labs is based in the United States. We and our service providers may process personal information in the United States and in other countries, whose data protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where the law requires safeguards for these transfers, we take steps to put them in place.
Children
This website is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets a higher age. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

This website may link to websites and services run by others, such as social media sites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them, and we are not responsible for their practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, we will point them out clearly on this page.
